Our brands

Our story began in 1989, when Peter Pössl realized his idea of a box van suitable for travel, thus revolutionizing the motorhome market. This compact way of traveling – combining the handiness of a van with the comfort of a motor caravan – opened up a whole new category of motorhomes.

And thus, the PÖSSL brand was born. In 2004, the more upscale GLOBECAR brand was added. The CLEVER VANS brand has complemented the Pössl Group since 2012, and the attractively priced ROADCAR label was added in 2015. Meanwhile, the PÖSSL GROUP has over 30 van models based on Fiat Ducato or Citroën Jumper vehicles in its portfolio. And let's not forget the most recent addition to the family: The VANLINE as the compact bus class of the PÖSSL GROUP. The compact CAMPSTER and VANSTER in bus format based on Citroën Spacetourer or Peugeot Traveller - as the ideal companion for everyday life, leisure time and long journeys. Recently, CAMPSTAR and VANSTAR as further camping bus models based on the Mercedes Vito or V-Class vehicles have been added to the model variety of the PÖSSL GROUP.
